KUTA CENTRAL AND SURROUNDING

Promotion of hotels in central Kuta and surrounding towns are spreaded over around 15 kms area along the beach including inner part of the city closer to the original village of Kuta. Basically all hotels are concentrated along the beach of Kuta which are mostly four or five star hotels, while those smaller hotels including non star and family managed hotels are concentrated on the left and right sides of jalan Poppies and the southern part of Jalan Legian, Jalan Bakung Sari, Jalan Pantai and Jalan Melasti or Lebak Bene.

The border of Central Kuta town and other towns can be said that the southern part is separated by jalan Bakung Sari, and the north is bordered by jalan Melasti. Bordering to the south with Tuban town and at the north with Legian town. While to the east is continued up to the shore line from west of Benoa harbor.

Administratively Kuta is under the government of Kabupaten Badung, a level of government under the province. Kuta itself has been divided into 2 kecamatan level of administration those are Kecamatan of North Kuta covering the area of Krobokan bordering with Menguwi, and Kecamatan of south Kuta covering a wide area such as Kuta center, Tuban, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Pecatu and Ungasan.
